Two of our Professors Honoured!

Two pieces of great news to report regarding two of our Professors.

At the annual IChemE awards for innovation and excellence, held this year on 4th November in Manchester, Prof. Geoff Maitland was named winner of the 2010 Chem Eng envoy of the year, for his excellent representation of the profession to the public during the BP Gulf of Mexico incident.  To see him in action, please take a look at this previous post, or indeed this one.

Furthermore, at the BioEnvironmental Polymer Society's annual meeting in October, Prof. Alexander Bismarck was named BEPS Outstanding Young Scientist for 2010.
